All I ever do is play old video games and listen to old music. All I ever do is watch cartoons on DVD. All I ever do is learn about events from yesteryear. And yet, I was born in the mid-90's.

Do you guys ever get nostalgic, even for things you never grew up with?
Can you help me get back into the present?

I, too, long for the days of the 1890s.

Because the culture of today is not very entertaining, its more of a culture based around quick richness, and alternatively being poor, which sorta bugs me inside. Hopefully a Counter culture movement will develop against the mainstream to replace it, like it has many times in the past, like a cycle. People really need to develop their own cultures rather than relying on outside cultures to do it for them, it really kinda sucks when people across the world dresses the same, because it takes away the "Awe" factor, that strangeness provides.

Well, there, my 2 cents, I guess the internet is the most close thing to a counter culture that we currently have, since its never been done before.

I mostly listen to music from the 60's and 70's. There's nothing wrong with that.
And yeah, I get nostalgic now and then. The past often seems better than the present; and you usually remember it as being better than it actually was.

The past was better then the present.
If only because the IRL had those cool back and white graphics in those days.

Nostalgia sucks, but rocks at the same time.

It sucks because it impedes foward motion (Which might be a good thing considering our current TV situation…), but it rocks because it's safe.

All I do is live in the past. It's hard for anyone to move on, even with things like cartoons and music. It's cool, man.
