From now on movie schedules and channel links will be posted in the OP of this thread

Next week at 5PM CST on Saturday DPF will be hosting the following films:

Rifftrax – The Room
MST3k – Hobgoblins

These are both reviews of the films we have already seen and formulated opinions on, but with comedic twists and jokes all-throughout. If you don't know what Rifftrax or Myster Science Theatre are, you missed out on a lot of life that can be made up for this weekend.

And on Sunday at the same time, Kalmo will be hosting these:

Dr. Horrible's
Butterfly Effect 2

I haven't seen either of these, but Kalmo assures me that they are good.
You'll enjoy them too. I DEMAND THAT YOU ENJOY THEM.

That is it for next week.

Never seen it,but I love the first one.
I hope I won't missed it.

I actually heard it was terrible, I actually like the first one too.

Bumping the thread to remind people that the stream starts at 5PM CST tomorrow, we'll be starting with the MST3k of Hobgoblins, after which we will be watching the Rifftrax'd The Room.

So how will it work this weekend then? Movie's going to be posted as well as a link to a livestream?

I just tuned in, and if you are about to watch Ghostbusters, then yes. Very much yes. If you're up to it you should follow up with Army of Darkness.

Because a Christmas theme in December is highly overdone.

Edit: Just re-read the first post so um…yeah…I'm informed now…

Holy shit I'm so tempted to go out and buy Army of Darkness just to stream it.

It's that amazing.

We would all end up shouting "BOOMSTICK" in unison. Or sneezing at Neptu because we forgot the entire phrase.

It'd be like watching a live performance of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Only not as fun because we won't be there in person.

O HAI KYM. Ah jus gat back fram watching The Room und that Leesa was so beautful. Wat a funny movie mark! That acteeng was su good and Lisa wus just sa beautiful.

Anyway, tomorrow is Kalmo's stream. tune in tomorrow at the same time in his Stream (check the OP for links) to join us in watching Dr. Horrible and Butterfly Effect 2.

Well thanks… Anyway I'm trying to fix it now. Give me about half an hour and we'll see. And if it sucked, then you plan your own day to stream movies, or be quiet.

If I could offer up a suggestion for a movie to watch, I think it'd be very interesting to stream Paprika.

It's a very interesting movie about entering and leaving dreams. Think anime inception, except it's sillier and with a less ambiguous ending.

It has a very colorful and interesting style for an anime, also.

Tomorrow I'll be working out which films we stream next time. I'll keep your suggestion in mind. Very likely we will be doing Trolls 2, and perhaps two of the Never Ending Story movies (the one with Jack Black for sure!).

This weekend's schedule does not include Sunday due to Christmas. Pretty sure we'll miss a few people on Saturday too, but that is to be tolerated. I might just show these films again another day if there aren't enough people showing up.

Friday, December 23, 5PM CST [Alex]
The Never Ending Story
The Never Ending Story III

Saturday, December 24, 5PM CST [Syndic]
Paprika (unconfirmed)
Troll 2 (unconfirmed)

OP has been updated to include Alex's channel and the new movies. I'm trying to find Paprika and Troll 2, and I may change one of those titles if I cannot find it. Alex says he has those movies on DVD, so we should be good there.

TNES is a classic, and pretty good. TNES3 is horrible, has Jack Black, and is horrible. A must see. Paprika is PimpAbra's suggestion and I'm curious enough to want to watch it too. Troll 2 is so bad its good, and famously so.

Hope to see y'all there.

I'd like to put out that TNESIII has some ridiculous moments worth watching.
Hope to see you guys there tmmw. xD

Also, about the movie "Paprika"…
I saw that like 2 years ago as a suggestion from my friend. Let's just say, it was… interesting.
Not bad though.

Having trouble finding a good dub version of Paprika, or any samples of the sub. Can't tell which is better, but it looks like I'll be downloading the sub. I usually prefer them anyway.

Next week, I want to stream an 80's stream. The good movie will be Ghostbusters, as a) it's the best movie ever, and b) Philip and Syndic haven't watched it. For shame. The bad movie I haven't decided on yet. So far I'm thinking either Troll 2 or The Wizard. If you have suggestions for a so bad it's good 80's movie, name 'em.

Okay. I'm currently downloading Paprika, should have it finished by the morning (unless somebody goes and out murders all my seeders or something). It is in some foreign language (Japanese no doubt) and you'll have to read subtitles. I couldn't get an English dub because BakaBT is anglophobic. Oh well.

I will find Troll 2 tomorrow. Shouldn't be hard to locate a good stream.

Both of these movies are a tad bit disturbing (Troll2 less so because of how goofy it is) and I highly suggest that anybody under 18 not tell me your age, or I'll have to kick you. Paprika has some REALLY weird scenes (saw a few on youtube) and uh, well, its weird. Be prepared.

Click

I don't expect -m-any to show up, but for those of you who do, this movie has one scene with (mild?) nudity, and a lot of disturbing dreamlike elements. You've been warned.

Also, DPF will probably be showing Troll 2 a second time next week due to the low turnout for today (it being Christmas Eve and everything).

edit: Its all empty in here. I'm postponing tonight's movie for certain. We'll watch these another time. Next weekend is new years, so that'll be a bad time too. Guess this whole thread is on hiatus until January.
