Look a Putin's face. Are you kidding me? That's the memeiest thing I've ever seen!

Locked
This needs to be a meme, but I'm too lazy to do it.

I don't know if it's lock worthy, but it screams JFF.
KYM is a website that documents existing memes and other internet phenomena, we do not start them.

Bad shoops of Putin's head? You're really confusing me here in the possible topic Verbose. I'm not seeing it.
Even JFF doesn't want this thread gracing its doorstep
You tried, OP but starting memes on the site that makes note of them from others never works.
Way to go introducing yourself.
/sarcasm
Try again.

Lock? JFF? Call me a helpless noob, but I have no idea what any of you are talking about. I just think the pic is funny.

Bad shoops is about the only thing I could see, which led me to think that JFF (i.e., participatory projects) could fit it. I don't think just because it's going to die in 20 posts or less means it should be locked. But at the same time, making a thread:
- because one image is funny
- doesn't make for a good thread (at least not on these forums. I would suggest lurking and seeing what sorts of threads other users post. I've noticed that KYM forums are much different from other ones.)
- in order to force a meme
- isn't what the site is about. Making photoshopped images can be fun, but as soon as you say "make" and "meme," moderators will want to lock it in a heartbeat.
But if you're going to make shoops of it, then I think that's fine. I can't give a hard reason outside of "precedent" to lock it, so I hesitate to do it myself.
I posted this in the wrong place. I see that now. It's definitely a great pic, though, right?
Right?
You guys?
COME ON!

You're not really helping your cause here (making me look rather foolish in the process, as well.)

Let's say it's a great reaction face or just an awesome expression.

…but what now?

What can we do outside of type "lol?" And we don't "make" memes here (at least not intentionally and never by accident to my knowledge.) The most we can do is to photoshop it and make a fun participatory thread out of it. When I say "participatory," it doesn't have to be as formal as it sounds.
But one image does not a thread make. What do you want us to do with it within the rules and culture of the site (because I think most everyone else is calling for a lock.)

I was thinking the exact same thing when I posted, even left the text out just to make it more exclusive.
Lock 'er down. This whole thing has been an absolute travesty from the start. I ashamed to have ever been mixed up in the whole sordid affair!
I SAID LOCK IT!
DO MY BIDDING!
^ Trying to hard to sound like a gentleman.
As requested by the OP, please lock it as for it is his decision.
And no, I must inquire to you it's not your bidding to do so, but the OP has already concurred with those who wished to lock this thread.

Looking at the OP post and other pretty obvious factors here Verbose, we can accept it was better of getting locked to begin with. I appreciate that you want to give threads like this a chance (I really do), but this one should've been pretty obvious.
But here, contributions:
