Kirby, who went missing at the beginning, has been found and thrown back into the match

Luigi, in his bloodlust, decides he is tired of playing second fiddle to his brother and turns on him. Desmond looked at Cole the wrong way and gets his ass electrically handed to him.

Cole also attacks Alex because he doesn't like people copying his franchise. Megaman, Jason and Link join the gangbash on Cole because everyone promptly forgot about Steve.

Steve faked his death and somehow his obvious disguise as a cube fooled everyone. How he did that is a mystery. But then again, people are apparently not smart enough to count
