So my first suspension from this site is over and i am back in action
actually this is my first real ban ever

i know non of you have missed me and that is okay i have not missed you either (unless you have missed me in that case this is very awkward)
anyway since this is a thread i should maybe ask a question
and since the topic is about me not being banned anymore i think it would be fitting to ask

"how many of you have been banned?"
"how often?"
and "can i have a cupcake?"

I helped a few users get banned, does that count?

Sniff Yeah, I got banned from KYM. Yeah, made a troll thread. Made unpopular comments. Made their "jimmies rustled". Know what I'm saying? They got "le" mad. Haha, good times. Once I get back, better make a thread of how I got banned and see how many other rowdy people are on this site. Share some "lulz" and "epic wins".

May I asked what made you make racist jokes in a mlp gallery? Just what made it so related?

It was a series with filly twilight telling offensive jokes, if you go to my gallery you should be able to find one or two of them they didn't 404

I might add that i am not proud of my ban and i do not plan on doing it again. However i would have loved a warning insted of boom banned

If it were me, I probably would have warned you too. But if you had any sort of implied warning (e.g., users telling you to stop, getting a lot of downvotes, a moderator posting negatively on those uploads, or the rules on uploads…considering you have over 200 posts in the forum, I think you were aware of them,) then I'd say a week ban is still reasonably expected.

I'd say this thread is fine as long as we don't get into complaining about moderation (in which case, that would be a Site-Related thread and not JFF.)

On that note, no, I haven't been banned before. I find it pretty difficult to understand how one gets banned here anyway. I tend to believe moderation is much less strict here than on other sites. Most users who get banned once may have been permabanned elsewhere.

No, it's on topic, and it's following the forum rules. I'm not going to lock it personally until it gets terribly derailed. I've been told off a few too many times about my tendencies in locking.

My suggestion for the future would be to lurk other threads to see how a topic might be taken before making anymore.
 
In terms of discussion on the Internet, "bans" are akin to conversations involving those times you got arrested for drunk driving in college. I wouldn't have expected this to be a fun thread.

My only ban was on a PSN forum a long time ago for some rather stupid reason, if I'm honest. Their boards suck, I haven't been there in a long time. They suck so much even the damn casuals think it sucks and left. It used to be pretty damn awesome. But then the mods went batshit crazy and ban you for just about anything…like disagreeing or interupting a thread with people they like in it.

Pretty sure OP should be glad he was banned. Frequenting the MLP gallery we have here should qualify you for a psychiatric evaluation.
