Stupid Commercials

Special K's commercials have always rustled my jimmies ever since I actually cared about commercials.

Everyone knows that as long as you exercise and are careful about what you eat, you can still be pretty healthy and eat a doughnut or a cookie or a cheeseburger. Screw that! Says Special K's commercials. Anything with a kilogram of fat will apparently instantly transform you into Jabba the Hut and not make you attractive! So eat our yogurt so you can fight back against the evil that is any food that isn't our product.

I could handle these commercials at first, but I still can't believe someone still hasn't cried foul even after they've gone to commercials showing mascots of (fictional) fast food restaurants chasing after women to give her an eeeeeeevil doughnut, or, even worse, said women being rude to people who are just innocently offering them a cookie or something, I even recently saw a commercial where a girl scout or something came up to a member of the Eat-Nothing-But-Special K club, who says something like: "Cute." and slams the door. Special K, words fail me sometimes.

I thought the Progressive commercials were stupid.

Farmers Insurance commercials are dumber than Progressive's. They even sing "dumb-dumbdumbdumb-dumb-dumb-dumb" at the end.

Geico's caveman and pig commercials are dumber than that. The first ones were plays on phrases, but the later ones made no sense.

Those recent AXE ads about how "women are getting hotter". I know theve been pulling this for years, and I may sound like a SJB, but the stereotypes and sexism in that particular commercial really get on my nerves.
