In this tread, you can post all kinds of weapons and guns! daggers, swords, pistols, rifles, tanks, lasser guns, or even an orbital cannon! so, now, i will start with my personal favorite:

the AK47

Efective and letal

Now is your turn!

My neighbor recently got a Taurus Judge:

He then spent the following 15 minutes looking for his dog.

Ha ha ha pitiful Roman Scum can't deal with SUPERIOR DACIAN WEAPONRY.

In other news, the Gastraphete is basically off the chain.

@OP

That's a heavily modified AK47. The only parts I recognize are the barrel, handle and firing mechanism. You might as well call that an AK48

In fact, why do we still stick with the half-a-century-old AK47 when there's been upgrades available for years

You guys know my love for the AUG already so here's another badass gun that looks like it's straight out of Alien. The IMI Tavor

It just looks badass

@Spider, Myconix, Cale, and Jace

Behold the superior class of melee weaponry that is pattern-welded Damascus!

(Just look at it!)

@BSoD: What do you mean "the firing mechanism", the receiver has that all hidden.
Also the 47 does have the use of the 7.62×39, whereas most contemporary models (including the AK-74M Service Rifle) use the 5.45×39.

@Cale

Ah, sorry I should have said the body, not the mechanism.

The 47 shouldn't be the only rifle in the AK series that uses 7.62. I believe the 103 and the 109 does as well or others can be modified to use it

But one thing the 47 has that no other AK will, is that lovely wood grain.

There are a number that do use the 7.62×39, but they are largely sporting rifles and/or not in service. Never heard of a 109, I know of the AK-9 and AN-94 (the latter being 5.45×39 and the former being 9×39).

As for furniture, I can't recall that I've seen anyone offer factory wooden furniture.
A shame since the SA-85M was rather easy on the eyes.

@J4CK: Sorry I can't hear you over all these Roman Corpses.

Parker Hale .577 Enfield 2 bander percussion rifle

A black powder muzzle loader of course. You'll be lucky if you can get 10 shots off in a 30 minute interval but then again half the fun is in loading the thing.

Yeah, I know.

They actually dealt crush damage in Age of Mythology, in additional to pierce, making that unit the single best archer for destroying buildings (even WITHOUT the Burning Pitch tech, they'd still deal at least 2 damage to buildings!)

On the subject of guns…

How about a Big F**king Gun?

For fighting through the legions of hell itself, accept no substitutes.

What's with all this rifle stuff? I prefer the family 12 gauge pump shotgun myself. (This isn't the exact gun we own, but it's close enough and the right color. Ours is a Mossberg, I believe). Shooting clays with this guy makes me feel like an absolute champion.

Also I dig shooting the .357 magnum here, though I basically suck with pistols. Snub nose for home defense, y'all.

Seriously tho, nunchucks are where it's at.

I was pretty satisfied with myself when I could do the basic moves without hitting myself in the face or nuts.

Yes, it's the knife/gun/brass knuckles combo. this gem, designed by an unknown gunsmith in the 19th century--presumably after losing a substantial wager.

It was designed in Belgium by Louis Dolne.

EDIT: Around 1860, to be concise.
