It's a bit early into the evening here on the American east coast as of typing this (past 6:30 PM), so I'm making this now so I don't forget about it later, heh.

Just post Halloween costumes you saw tonight that you thought were pretty neat, or really common, etc.

Today(From what I remember) I saw that were interesting:
A cute baby dressed up as a lady bug
Wednesday Addams(didn't know some children who the Addams Family were)
Waldo
Crash Test Dummy
My next door neighbor's great granddaughters were cute princesses and Batgirl

So now as of posting it's past 9:30 PM on the American east coat and things are winding down (even though it is Saturday, even when I was younger my parents preferred I be home between 9 and 9:30, it's rare to see anyone still trick-or-treating by 10:00 PM).

Most common costumes:
-Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by far was the one I saw the most of, mostly based on the current Nickelodeon cartoon.
-Also a decent number of kids dressed as Batman
-A couple of girls dressed in "kitty" costumes (even a few moms were in cat themed costumes)
-A decent number of young girls were dressed as Elsa from Frozen

Some interesting ones I saw:
-One kid was dressed in a Naruto costume, headband and all

-One group were themed in Wizard of Oz costumes with the girl dressed as Dorothy using a picnic basket for holding her candy (and with a plush dog inside)

-Two teenage girls dressed in zombie costumes, one a princess with a Heath Ledger Joker-like Glasgow Smile, and the other a nurse that may or may not have been of the Silent Hill variety

-One kid who I thought was Louis from Left 4 Dead at first (he was a black kid with a shaved head, white dress shirt that was partially untucked, dress pants, and a loose tie), but when I got a better look he also had on "nerd glasses" that were thick rimmed and tapped in the middle, so I'm calling him "Nerdy Louis," heh

-One girl was dressed in a Pinkie Pie costume and had a Rainbow Dash candy bag

-Another girl was Wonder Woman, which is cool since I don't see many people on Halloween in Wonder Woman costumes

-Probably the one that made me go "is this a costume or not?" the most was this one teenager whose "costume" was wearing a Call of Duty: Ghosts t-shirt and an "I Love NY" cap. I feel like maybe he was dressed as a CoD lets player I'm not familiar with (CoD LPs are not something I regularly look up), but eh maybe he was just out for some free candy tonight and didn't feel like dressing up, heh.

What I'm surprised I DIDN'T see:

-Minions. Yep, I'm actually surprised I didn't see a single Minions costume, even though they are big with kids. One kid had a Minions candy bag, but that was it.

-No Undertale costumes. Yeah not even someone in a skeleton mask and blue hoodie.

-No Five Nights at Freddys costumes either, not even a simple one like someone wearing a "Security" cap.

>surprised you didn't see trick or treaters in fnaf's costumes
What trick or treater would dress up as a character from that?

We have plenty of teens trick-or-treat around here so I thought maybe they would (for example in 2013 there were these two girls who came to the door dressed in Left 4 Dead 2 costumes, one was Ellis the other a Hunter).

Though it's worth noting that one year a little girl who couldn't have been older than 12 at most came to the door dressed as a Little Sister from BioShock, an M rated game, and when I recognized her costume and said "oh awesome, a Little Sister" she turned to her mom and said "see [she] know what I am," which made me think "oh wow I think this kid actually plays BioShock" (rather than it being a costume made by a parent who likes the games).

Every member of the men's and women's swim teams at my college wore banana costumes. Saw at least a dozen of them. I think it's kinda stupid, but… eh, whatever. I'm not necessarily against stupid fun.

Sounds like there was a whole bunch of them.

One of my friends wore a pink shirt that was apparently meant for ten year-olds. She said she was dressed as a ho. Another friend had a Sans costume (generic skeleton mask with blue hoodie).
