Alright everyone, It’s time for Spirit Week. For those who don’t know what KYM Spirit week is, it’s seven days of fun that you can optionally participate in. Change your avatar/username to the days specific theme, like be a superhero, another user, a meme etc.
This is you the community will come in, Last year was a great spirit week, and this year I wish everyone can come together and collaborate in jolly cooperation. We want to know when we should start spirit week, and help community bonding grew even stronger.
So go ahead and post what ideas you have for Spirit week
Example: "Monday should totally be change your avatar, and username to a meme day"
Pretty simple, right? So who wants to help us with Spirit Week 4? Go ahead, and share your ideas below!

Example from last year

Monday: Meme Day
Tuesday: Opposite/R63 Day
Wednesday: Aesthetics Day
Thursday:Renaissance Day: Change your profile pic to ye olden art and speak in the tone of the medieval times
Friday: Slav Day (Still don’t understand this one but we’ll give it a go)
Saturday: Self-made avatar day (Late in the week giving people time to whip one up)
Sunday: Impersonate another User

You can throw those to any slot, honestly.

Self-made avatar day. Bonus points if made in Paint.
Become another user day. Self-explanatory.
Missigno day. You set your username to spacebars and your avatar to a blank image, additionally removing your profile (paste it in a text file not to lose it). You can still comment/post as if you were you.

I really like the "Become another user" idea. For those who want to participate in that, could we perhaps set up something that pairs us up with another user so multiple people don't end up becoming the same person?

Monday: Politics Day. Your username and avatar will support Trump, Clinton, or Sanders.
Tuesday: Foreign Day. Your username will be in another language and your avatar will be a person who represents that language.
Wednesday: Cringe Day. Your username and avatar will represent something cringey like a bad fetish or fandom fan art.
Thursday: Sports Day. Your avatar will be a pic of your favorite team.
Friday: Video Game Day. You will impersonate a video game character.
Saturday: RIP Day. You will impersonate a dead celebrity or historical figure.
Sunday: Impersonate A User Day. 'Nuff said!

The most succesful days have always been the most simple ones which are worth repeating: Favourite meme, Rule 63, another user, vidya, celeb. So yeah +1 there.

Dead celebs is best expanded to celeb day in general if we wish to avoid 500 David Bowies.

In the same vein as the "Post an image from the above user's gallery" thread, we should have a day where we take a cropped image from a user's gallery and use it as our avatars for a day.

Alright tomorrow is the first day, lets get this settled on what days we want.

My Suggestions are

Monday: Be a Meme
Tuesday: Rule 63 Day
Wednesday: The Opposite of your avatar.
Thursday: Be a Celebrity or at least a famous person
Friday: Waifu/Husbando
Saturday: Anagrams
Saturday: Impersonate another user.

Any other ideas?

Tuesday: Tumblr (use the name/profile pic of your favorite Tumblr user)

Sunday: impersonate Another User (act like they do as well if you want to)

The goal was this monday but tbh I'd postpone it for now given the barebones amount of planning and interest.

Oh yay spirit week, I'm surprised I never noticed this thread quicker. I guess if it isn't starting today I could pitch in a few more ideas:

Youtuber day: Stroke the ego of any youtuber and cosplay them or something
Renaissance Day: Change your profile pic to ye olden art and speak in the tone of the medieval times
AESTHETIC Day: Become as aesthetic as possible
Slav Day: Squat, cheeki the breeki, and drink vodka (change avatar to silly slav stuff)

Alright, lets see if we can get some attention for spirit week for next week. We also need to solidify what days we want as well.

If we're starting next week, I think a 'murica day would be worth having on Monday.

Monday: Hate Day: Change your stuff to something that you hate. Dead memes, people, groups, causes, etc.

Tuesday: Celeb Day: you've seen it before, you know what it is.

Wednesday: Meme Day: Change your stuff to represent your favorite meme.

Thursday: Game Day: Change your stuff to game stuff. Anything counts: video games, sportball, those fucking board games that nobody plays anymore, etc.

Friday: Cartoon Day: Cartoon stuff. Western and anime and everything in between.

Saturday: Injoke Day: change your stuff to an injoke from something you're in that nobody gets.

Sunday: the obligatory "impersonate another KYM user" day.

You change your avatar into a meme, and pretend to be that meme.

I like that setup you have so far, with the except of Friday (just feels like a weird day with too large scale of a theme but it could work)

Slav day as in stereotypical Russian memes such as cheeki breeki, vodka, squatting, Adidas wear, etc.

I liked this day but I also really liked Aesthetic day so I just flipped a coin on which one I included in my list

This is the list I came up with, anything else?

If I have to make some suggestions, I would suggest to spice things up a bit by avoiding redundancy.

So if I have to give preferences:

- Memes (a classic, but we're a memesite so free pass)
- Aesthetics (by Tillster, but a solid suggestion)
- Impersonate another user (not a fan of this day myself, but many like it)
- Renaissance Day, or basically any Ye Olden Day (good call)
- Slav Day (like renaissance day, something fresh and nice)
- Opposite Day, possibly combining with Rule 63 day (while rule 63 is overused, combining it could make it work for genderless avs)
- Missingo Day, but instead of being a blank avatar and username make it so you have a fucked up username and av. So a Zalgo style, but just the scrambled text and not the horror stuff. A representation of how Missingo would fuck up your file.

Things I would suggest to avoid:
- Waifu day, like was said, this is the default for a bit too many
- Anything "least popular" or "hate" days, cus obvious reasons
- Celeb day or Game day, as these are overused ones from the past, and some new stuff can be fun

If I had to choose between Slav Day and Aesthetics Day, I'd go with Aesthetics Day.
