This thread is for posting ideas that are (at least fundamentally) great on paper and probably execution.

Probably not great when executed, but it's been on my mind for a while now.

Designated Drag Racing Streets. Came up with this one after hearing cars and motorcycles at night revving their engines on the nearby main street from where I live at night.

It goes something likes: During the after hours, certain streets (that are usually busy during the day) in suburban areas will become open for drag racing between 11 PM and 5 AM. Signs will be put up around these streets to warn motorists to where these streets are and when they're active.

Ideally, it's to encourage drag racers to take their actions someplace where it's ok and so the police can worry about other things other than bad drivers at night. Speaking of police, perhaps one unit should stay on the street to make sure there's someone to call for any help if something bad happens or if they take it out of the area.
