elton john has more charisma in my opinion

Elton John is a better composer, has a wider variety of music, and is a kickass singer.

Seriously though, if I had to choose between the two, I'd choose Billy Joel. It's not 'coz I think he's better; that's up to personal preference. It's just that I grew up listening to his songs thanks to my mom who listened to his music 'coz she's a jazz music aficionado. Though, to be honest, I like both pianists (I still like Tim the best though).
