Anyone here actually visit drawball.com? I think the place can be pretty fun when you are working on a collaboration project. Does anyone want to start one?

Just tried it for the first time. Is it pretty common for the thing to have so many penises everywhere? Seriously, I zoomed in on six different areas, and each one had a penis drawn in it somewhere. The seventh area finally had no penis in it. Instead it had loli tentacle raep.

But I'd be interested in trying a project. We could choose a spot on the ball and try to make a KYM logo there or something. I don't think we're a big enough community for a large-scale project.

Considering /b/ used to be obsessed with that site, it doesn't surprise me that there's all that garbage on the ball. One thing you guys gotta remember about drawball is that if we do a project, that it will be vandalized over and over again. Nothing stays on the drawball for more than a month unless you are very very persistent.

i never heard of the site b4 is it like one of those live group drawing sites? I been to like 2 or 3 of those. Those are fun to go to.

Oh, I didn't see that before! You can link to a specific area on the ball, cool. So do people have a better idea than a KYM logo sort of thing, then?

If Know Your Meme had a simple logo, then I think that would be a good one, but since it doesn't, I think we should do a meme of some sort. I vote nothing pony related though. There are admins that post those on the ball.

I just don't think we're going to get a level of participation that will allow us something major, but I'd certainly like to be proved wrong.

It's like leaving a big piece of paper up on a wall and handing everybody markers.

Well, aside from being a lousy artist in general, it's also rather difficult to keep a consistent color (or for that matter pick the precise one you want in the first place) and/or draw straight lines with my laptop's track pad. Of course, when you zoom all the way out, you can hardly see it, so it looks great from there. : )

And.. someone's already vandalising it before I get to hit "post". What a surprise.

With 7 or 8 people, you can cover quite a large area on the drawball.

Also, the crabs look like they were place there by an admin. I sure wish they would make those programs public. They look like they would be fun to use.

I would have loved to have done something bigger, but it was just me for the most part. (I noticed someone else put a nice border around it, but other than that…?)

I had a huge K halfway done down in the lower-left, and suddenly someone came and blanked it out:

That white area was cleared out in about two seconds as I watched. I wish I understood how people were cheating the system, because that's flat out not humanly possible.

Well, I'm out of ink until the morning. Silly Annon thought he could best me. He did sort of because I ended up using all my ink up fixing his vandalism. By the way, here's a useful drawball script that lets you draw straight lines:

It's under post # 930 by a member named Dread_Lord. Since he was so kind to upload a script, we might as well use it too.

I think someone's still sitting there trying to troll whoever comes. I came by to look, during which I decided to give it a red border for pretty much no reason.
And then somebody erased the KYM part.

Aw, the little KYM logo has been wiped out too now. And it was up there for a pretty good amount of time…

I should have known it was possible to run scripts; that probably explains that massive erasure I saw.

I'm out of ink again. I just did the bulk stuff, so you guys can probably handle the rest for now.

There's a giant K now, I added a lot more blue to surround it, someone work on the Y now.

i added some blue. now i haven't got any more ink. what do i do? how lon does it take for it to "re-load"?

The K was obviously made with that strait line script. I don't know how to work it.

Wtf…I spent 3 minutes trying to fix the KYM and someone put green all over it… Fricken asshole.

I'm trying to rebuild some of the K. Dunno how long it will last though.

btw, do you guys know what the blue cross is all about? the red thing looks like france was trying to do something. and yea, why are so many people trying to make it blue or white or black? it looks like somebody has got some plans with that ball… (:

Yep, we got vandalized again. The script is an autohotkey program that makes it really simple to cover a large area. The keys are WASD. W will make vertical strokes, S: Horizontal, and A and D make diagonal strokes. You have to select smaller brushes to avoid overlapping the lines. I close out of the program by finding the program in the tasks on the startbar (where the volume control is on a windows computer.), and just exiting that.

As for the blue cross, it's the Finnish flag. It's been up there for weeks, and I'm glad it's finally starting to disappear. Them, 4 chan and 15-18 tend to show up on the ball a lot. Poland has shown up a few times, along with forocces (sp?)

I like the small KYM idea, but I'm not satisfied until we see this thing to completion.

Look, folks, you've just got to accept that whatever we do will be vandalized, but that doesn't mean we have to give up. You just say, "Oh well," and rebuild it. Now this is my first time being involved with a project on drawball, but I get the impression that one of the best ways to get past the vandalism is to not worry about it. If we obsess over getting the thing perfect, we'll never overtake the vandals, but if we just get it fleshed out, then occasional KYM visitors can clean the thing up after we've got the main part of it. I mean, we haven't even gotten the Y half-done yet.

Also, in case anyone's interested, I see someone has repeatedly written "ХУЙ" on our work and other places. Perhaps quite predictably, this seems to be Russian for "cock".

ETA: Got in the serif at the bottom of the Y and outlined the serif at the top-right before I ran out of ink this time. Carry on!
