alright, so, i guess this didn't work out.. but don't panic! i have an idea!! we must decide for a date, and then, gather a lot of troups, on KYM, facebook and supporting meme-creators. it must in mid day american time, so us europeans can also be in on it (:
what do you say lads.. shall we plan it out? :D

It isn't the largest, or the greatest, but it took me about 10 minutes and you can see it pretty well on the screen.

Well it WAS good until an asshole scribbled all over it…

BTW, it occurs to me that vandalizing others' work with "KYM" is just asking for retaliation. There's enough trouble with genuine vandalizing trolls without inviting other "serious" artists to attack us out of revenge.

I don't know, but it's fascinating to me seeing all this stuff going on. Whoever did all that erasure seems to want to leave the crabs there, as those were skipped. Although the ninja turtle was erased, it's being quickly restored, and the loli I mentioned earlier in the thread, after having gone through several modifications since I first spotted her, now has a picture of Chris Hansen on her crotch:

so, now i've outlines the blue square, and i am currently filling it out with some ugly ass lines, but i was thinking, some could make the M, and the blue would make it easier to see where to draw it, and make it visible. and then afterwards we can correct the damages and make it 100% blue (: .. now, someone, make the M, because it would be hella ugly if i made it myself .. xD .. or at least outline the M, and i would be glad to fill it out :D

Oh god, Chris Hansen's gone….

WHERE DO YOU GET THE SCRIPTZ!?!?!?

If you guys read earlier, I posted a link. I'm the one with the script. It's on Zoklet.net. Post #930.

Some of the scripts seem a little buggy, though, and there aren't any instructions. I would suggest that anyone using the scripts try them out in an area where nothing they care about is going on, so they don't make the mistake I did of using a script to undo your own work.

For those who don't understand how the scripts work, BTW (I know it took me a bit to figure out how they were supposed to used), you download a zip file which has a handful of executable programs in it. Run one of the programs. It will appear nothing has happened, but you'll find, depending on which one you ran, that the keyboard will now control your mouse in one way or another. I personally have been using the arrow keys with the "keyboard.exe" script for most of my work lately, an interesting script which you'll find will allow you to (sort of) type on the drawball if you hit letters.

Oh, and don't forget to disable the scripts when you're done using them, or it will screw up something else you're working on.

Also, looks like everyone did a huge amount of work while I was sleeping. I put an outline around the Y and went to bed with that and no M whatsoever, and here this morning I see all this?

You guys rock! (I should have taken a screenshot right away; I was working on the K again, and someone scribbled all over it in black, but it's still legible, as you can see.) Do try and take screenshots when you see good progress being made.

I have to wait until my ink refills. I spent all of it this morning working on fixing the K and the blue outline.

I still can't figure out how to get the script :(

Arcadian wrote:

Yep, we got vandalized again. The script is an autohotkey program that makes it really simple to cover a large area. The keys are WASD. W will make vertical strokes, S: Horizontal, and A and D make diagonal strokes. You have to select smaller brushes to avoid overlapping the lines. I close out of the program by finding the program in the tasks on the startbar (where the volume control is on a windows computer.), and just exiting that.

As for the blue cross, it's the Finnish flag. It's been up there for weeks, and I'm glad it's finally starting to disappear. Them, 4 chan and 15-18 tend to show up on the ball a lot. Poland has shown up a few times, along with forocces (sp?)

I like the small KYM idea, but I'm not satisfied until we see this thing to completion.

Here's the instructions.

Also, has anyone seen these:

One of the admins archives all the activity on the drawball, so our logo will show up in a later video.

BTW, does anyone know how to embed videos?

YouTube videos should have a button marked "Share" that will give you an embed code:

ETA: Oh, and I noticed something interesting about the drawball in the video: it's actually square, but drawing is limited to the circle in the middle. Look at the corners and however they managed it, there are people drawing off the edges of the ball.

so, all we need to do is clean it up, and then it's finished! :D
so exiting!

Sorry, I hate to be a stickler, and maybe everyone will vote me down on being so particular, but the M is all wrong.
1: Needs serifs here, but that's easy enough to fix, the hard part is…
2: The center of the M should come all the way down to the baseline.

I'll yield to the majority if everyone working on the project says essentially, "It's close enough, a-hole!", but I for one would like to see that change made. With the exception of cleaning up the serifs on the K, I'm more than happy with the other two letters' current appearance.

i'm out of ink. but i'll help you correct it tomorrow when i've got som more :D
you are right, it should be correct (:

You know what? We might as well fix it, as the M is also in need of shifting downwards slightly to be in alignment with the other two letters. I put in outlines on the bottom serifs, but then I was out of ink again.

The only problem is, unless you can find a simpler way to do it, it will be messy because I refuse to go through all the zip word filing to get a script for the logo.

Wow, some real work has gone into that sucker today:
I just noticed that while the first logo I made is gone, there's actually another small logo near the top, slightly to the right of center.

I have artistic ability IRL, but I can't draw with a laptop mousepad and don't have a drawing tablet, so I'll being drawing the logo pretty roughly.

Le sigh…

@RF: Yeah, I don't have artistic ability at all, I'm afraid, so having to do crap like this on a track pad is extra-grueling.

OH SHIT! SOMEONE'S ERASING IT, AND I HAVE NO INK LEFT!

Last edited Jun 13, 2011 at 12:25AM EDT

I also erased some of the black lines, but didn't have the heart to erase the little red face :)

Anyway, I'm out of ink, so someone will have to fill in for me.

Folks, as of 10:30 (PDT) on June 12, it is my opinion that while it is not "perfect", any remaining flaws are not visible at full view:

I call it a win.

Awesome! Now just hope no Ganda oats (I'm just gonna put that and laugh at how my iPod corrected "vandalists" to that) come along.
