Does this sound familiar? It should. One can't go onto any major website like Youtube without finding massive hysteria about Justin Bieber. Comments on videos of him range from the garden variety trolls, to actual hatedom, to fans of Bieber, to martyrs, called "Beliebers", willing to risk their lives for Bieber's name, even on an online forum. The intense Hatedom/Fandom Dynamic has mad Bieber even more popular. Almost every popular blogging website has input their piece on the whole Beiber phenomena.

Every site except KYM.
Beiber hate can be seen in the comments, and in "Joke" Entries or deadpool entries. But why havent we had a page about JB yet. Like him or hate him, he's obviously popular on the internet. And we do document memes here. So, i have 2 possible Options:
1.) Make a People entry about Justin Beiber alone, mentioning his amassed fandom and hatedom (Allowing for updates on the person, along with his fandom, and not only his hatedom)
2.) Make a Meme entry on Justin Bieber hatedom, mentioning his rise to fame, along with a short bio (allowing focus on the hatedom community, not on the person)

What'll it be, members of KYM? I have a situation prepared for both of them.

Well Rebecca Black's Friday and herself became an infamous meme. If you can find some stuff on this, I think it could have a chance. I mean his life is a big controversy. (I'm on the dying side)

We definitely need a JB entry that covers his presence on the Internet (fandom and hatedom), especially as he got his start as a YouTuber.

@Hercules, I think the reason that post got downvoted was because it's not exactly useful, and came off a little condescending. "I before e" rules have always been convoluted, confusing, and inconsistent in English spelling, and "Bieber" isn't exactly a common name.

I'm not particularly familiar with the name "Bieber", plus i think it looks better like Beiber. Also, i didn't even downvote your comments once. So stop raging, and provide some useful input.

They were just talking about Bieber on NPR and how even though he is incredibly popular, putting him on the front of your magazine will kill your sales. Seriously though… I could have told them that 12 year old girls are not the ones going to newsstands and buying magazines.

Are people surprised at this hatred though? I feel like throughout recent history, anyone who isn't a teenage girl hates the latest boy band or pop sensation. I hated Justin Timberlake until he started doing stuff on SNL.

I try not to care, but I always seem to find myself drawn to one side or the other. Besides, compared to other contemporary "artists", his stuff is comparably better.

Yes, should be a meme, but we need editors to keep like/love/hate/wanna kill that guy out of it. If we have an unbiased account, it would be a great addition, but I think the biggest problem is that most of the entries were probably entries based on 'hate' rather than documenting.
