The Alot is a creature coming from a Hyperbole and a Half post (the same thing X All the Y is from) who is used to make fun of people who use the gramatically incorrect word "alot" instead of "a lot".

It's become pretty popular, with a number of references and other such stuff. Thoughts?

I, being a grammar nazi myself, love it.

According to my trusted sources, The Alot already has several fan-made variations… I say posting an entry for it wouldn't hurt any.

I saw this about a month ago, and as another grammar Nazi, I re-posted it on my Tumblr with my wishes for it to do well. I think we ought to watch and see if it gets alot of spread.

I am shocked that we didn't have an entry for this yet.
