According to Urban Dictionary, the terms Sage (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=sage) and Age (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=age) are Chanspeak memes that allow you to either make a thread die or live more (Sage being the die one).

Sage is practically the more popular word between the two, amassing an ED article and a Macrochan article with 109 examples.

Sage has even been turned into a 4chan mascot just like moot, W.T. Snacks, and Yotsuba called Sage Man: http://www.4chan.org/flash/?file=SageMan.swf&title=Sage+Man

So, here is the question: Does Sage deserve its own article? It's just like Bump and all those other Chanspeak memes. I think it deserves one.

I like this fake trailer of a fake Sage Man game. It made me lol: http://www.4chan.org/flash/?file=sagemangame.swf&title=Sage+Man+Game

Fun fact: You can see a mascot version of Age for a short while in the video. I don't know what she is called yet though.

Also, here is a LURKMORE Wiki link for both words.

Wikipedia also mentions the usage of Sage and Age right here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imageboard#Characteristics_of_imageboards

It's found in the 4chan Glossary too: http://wiki.iiichan.net/4chan_Glossary#sage

I'll keep lurking for moar.

What am I doing?! Why am I researching a word?! All I really need is a definition of the word and a few examples of it being used on different sites if I ever make the entry. I just failed and lost the game at the same time!
