So, you know how there's a remake of FF7 coming out? Well, as it turns out, there's actually a sort of time police in the game, but they're ghosts who may or may not represent people who want the game to be exactly the same as the original.

Basically, 4chan, ESPECIALLY /v/, is having a field day with it, making OC, talking about time jannies, turning it into a new meme. They're calling them Time Ghosts, History Niggas, Changebad Ghosts, and what have you.

It's goddamned hilarious, they're making jokes about how the time ghosts are forcing Cid to beat his wife in FF7. Or how they need to stop Hitler from passing his art class because 6 million people need him. There's some good shit in these threads.
