Even if we may talk less about them, memes created on the Russian Internet (such as Preved Medved or PhotoExtrem) and Eastern European countries like Poland with Ala Urwa must be considered as well.

We have had a few on them in submission, waiting to be confirmed. But before that, most of them need work and, as you may have noticed, many of us aren't really good with foreign languages.
I'm sure there is a bucketload of phenomena coming from Russia or other countries we may have missed, mainly because of language barrier.

So, if anyone of you knows a little about Russian or Slavonic languages in order to gather around a small group of researchers in this thread, please come in!

Hello there! Found a meme for researching! Really need help, this thing is quite huge apparently.

It's name is Будь мужиком, блеать, and any attempts at translating these pages would be much appreciated.

From what I can tell, it seems to mean somehting along the lines of Be a Man, and it seems to be a exploitable template, like X ALL the Y. This things got whole pages devoted to it and a page on the Russian Lurkmore.

Ok, apparently due to a very helpful person on Deviantart, the russian text stand for "Be the man(male, hombre), mazafacka!" + add your words". So yeah, a lot like X all the Y, it's edited to say other words with appropriate drawings for them.

And then it evolved, It doesnt even have to have "BE A MAN" in it, but it has to have BLYAT in the end, no matter what. Any topic can be used, and the man gets altered according to the topic.

Sadly that is all the info I can give.

Upyachka, as far as I understand, is a Russian internet movement founded in 2007 and based on trolling people that "fail" at the Internet by raiding their website/DDoS attacks. Am I correct?
It's a Russian version of Anonymous in a way so I guess there are some sekret-klubhouse rules about it. The thing is, there are videos of people doing the Stick-figure dance and I've also seen those frog gif animations a lot.
It's in great need of being documented because it seems to be a big Russian phenomenon, whether the members of that website like it or not.
It seems Leprosorium.Ru helps them sometimes and they also have their own radio at 42fm.ru.

(They also apparently attacked the Ukraine National Bank website in 2008)

Pointless documenting it now. It's become too mainstream ( as much as I hate that word) and most people who use the typical upyachka phrases have no idea what it is/was.

Well, we documented Preved Medved even if it fell into oblivion long ago.
What matters is bound to Internet relevance and I'm all for memetic archeology actually. Upyachka has been big at least from April 2007 (first post on their website) to the end of 2009. I understand how you feel about a movement that may have lost its true initial meaning but there are enough empirical evidences (and documentation) to outline the major events that happened there.

I must add I'm in favor of documenting old/almost dead/dead Internet phenomena, not for trying to revive them, that would be silly, pointless, going against the true purpose of KYM and would anger many people including myself. I think it worths documenting it because of the impact it had on a somewhat big part of the Internet at one point in time.

If you have a little bit more of hindsight about what the upyachka phrases really mean, that would provide a more accurate depiction of the ideology behind the website and people would certainly understand it more, I think.

Well, all the phrases consist of horrid grammar such as "ANIMAL WUT WUT UPYACHKA I AM AN IDIOT SOMEONE PLEASE KILL ME" The someone please kill me I'm an idiot, is kind of like a catchphrase.
The site is full of viruses, and what looks to most people like insane gibberish. But it's all part of the beauty of it. And yes, all of it started after an attack on Habr, a blog like forum.

Okay, in the meantime when I get both the time and motivation to make an entry about upyachka if not one wants to take the lead, I've found a possible Russian dance meme:

It seems to be a musical genre called "Hard Bass" or "Хард Басс" with a dance close to Jumpstyle.

It seems to have a strong following.

HARDBASS! The bydlo dance craze that became cool for the "in croud".
There are different types of hardbass, from straight edge, to neo-nazi. The lyrics are mostly about wearing sports clothes (adidas, nike) and dancing while NOT being intoxicated ( a VERY rare thing here in Russia).
Kolbasa/kolbasit/kolbaseri- means to just party hard. The word kalbasa actually means sausage or weenie, but it's context changes in these thoughtful lyrics.
The dance, as you can see in the videos posted above, consists of jumping/stomping/crouching around to the sound of some pretty heavy techno beats.
This… thing… is quickly spreading away from Russia and former soviet states, there are Venezuela hardbass videos, and I myself have planned to do a hardbass Oslo. Some (mine included) of these are done ironically, because the originals, where the teenage boys are being pseudo serious about the message thats being spread, are downright hilarious, from the video effects, to the dancing, to the clothes these young men wear ( notice the tight sports pants and overall awkward style, typical for males their age in Russia)
SO there you have it, hope that helps. This trend is a strange one, but I like it, because we get to make rather undercover fun of bydlos.

Also, the typical hand gesture while doing this dance, is as if you're showing a phone with your fingers ( pinky and thumb sticking out).

Bydlo is a word meaning redneck, sort of.
But rich people can be bydlo, anyone can be bydlo. Bydlo means that the people are sheep like, uninteresting, typical, not very intelligent, know nothing of the world, and act aggressive.
