To be back on topic, I'd like to know how many Usermons are still needed in order to move on to the next step.
Because if no one wants to volunteer to be a 'mon, well, drafting is a thing we could possibly resort to.

This might be for the best, although a lot of the ideas for 'mons that aren't Usermon have already been taken, so this may not be a possibility.

All right, i remember saying that i wanted a pre-evolution for my original usermon, but i never actually gave any info on it, so here it is.

Type: Steel/flying
Dex: "This fuzzy little usermon might have some potential, though it's neck armor is too heavy for it to do much."
Ref: This fuzzy little guy , with this thing around it's neck.

Evolution method: This is entirely based on how much of my original stats have been changed. If it hasn't been changed, then i think i should evolve into fishstick at level 44.

EDIT: Unless i'm close to having the lowest stat total in the game, in which case i should evolve around 20 or so.

You know, I, uhh, I hate to add fuel to the fire, but these are not very well done sprites. I mean, honestly I'm not a terrific spriter either, but they just look lazy. There's barely any shading or lighting, the same template is used in all three, the mini icon is just a pair of glasses (why don't I get a full body for this like in real Pokemon games?), and worst of all, I look like an eel. This was my old attempt that I never posted:

I was keeping myself from saying it out loud (i have a very hard time criticising things, even if it's constructive criticism), but yeah, i'm not really a fan of mine either. At least you don't have to deal with the extra problem of your stats being absolute shite.

That's actually pretty good, just saying. Though perhaps you shouldn't have a background color too similar to a piece that's on your sprite.

Along with the lack of guidance and what happened here very recently, I'm just going to back out of this. Were this project approached with more ambition and friendliness, I would have put some serious effort into helping somehow. Alas, it was not meant to be.

Alright, I've been noticing that some of my recent sprites had too much black outlines showing, so I went back and fixed a few of the sprites to make them look a little more colorful.

OK, I'm trying to come up with Usermon stuff for my avatar, but I'm struggling.

Okay, kind of important post, here.

In a nutshell, one of my previous compositions didn't transfer right when I changed computers, so at the moment, I can't do anything with it since I don't remember exactly how it went. What I need is someone's help, where I can send them the GarageBand data (since that transferred, but I can't open it with my GarageBand) via google docs, convert the file to an mp3 (share to iTunes), and send me that… Im pretty good playing by ear, so that would really be all I need.

If anyone has a Mac computer with at least a 2012 GarageBand and a google account, please pm me.

(P.S. The piece I'm referring to will most likely be the gym leader theme)

Rather than have Flash Sanic being the evolution of Sanic, couldn't we have a split path?
Like, Gotta Go Fast can evolve into either Sanic or Flash Sanic, through use of an evolutionary stone or in a similar method to how Eevee evolves into both Espeon and Umbreon.

That sounds pretty neat, in my opinion.
All I know is that stat-wise, the Sanic/Sonic/Whatever line would probably have stupidly high speed.

Potentially, but most people weren't satisfied with his sprite work in the first place. I would assist with sprite work, but I'm already struggling to make decent looking art with a pencil, so I doubt I could make anything look decent in pixel art.

General Shi Gai seems to be doing amazingly well so far, so it depends on whether or not s/he and the other sprite artists (if there are any) believe they need assistance or not.

Aaaand, Roy's 2nd evolution is done.

No no, it's fine. I don't mind the little sprite as much, I'm impressed with the main sprite.

MUSIC UPDATE:

Alright, so I've moved on to working on the Trainer Battle theme.
Now, unlike my previous compositions, the Gym Leader and Wild Battle themes I had already composed in the past, so I threw them together with no sweat. So that means for the trainer battle theme, I would have to compose something completely new, so this one will take me a little longer. (On the bright sight, though, it'll be a lot better, since I have more experience now.) If you'd like a 20-second preview of the work so far (since that's all I have), you can listen to it here.

Also, thanks to Lost Cause, I was able to complete the Gym Leader theme… And on top of that, orchestrate it. Unfortunately, I don't mean with the Hoenn sounds yet, since my friend is still working on getting me a working version of Sappy , so I recreated as best as I could on Garageband the Hoenn instruments.
(Don't worry, it's not shit like my previous one)

(Also I bolded some parts for the TL;DR people)
