Just as an FYI, I'm not the one who adds anything relating to specific users on TV Tropes's Know Your Meme page. I'm the one who added stuff like "In 2015 the site saw a rise in fetish articles" and "Similar to the userbase's dislike of SJWs, people on the extreme opposite end are also mocked for being no better."

Whoever added it in wrote it in a very neutral and non-mean spirited way.

That's pretty much how you have to do it on that site anyway.

As I said, I'm not the person listing specific users under tropes, my edits to that page are only related to articles. Even the more positive leaning comments like "Particle Mare is well liked by the site's userbase" aren't my edits.

That's supposed to be used for fictional entities. I am fairly certain most TVT mods would delete that whole section upon discovering it because it would flout the "no real life people" rule for certain audience reactions.

Wow, so impartial. And of course there's the point that just because someone creates an entry, doesn't mean they believe in it/agree with its cause.

Why are you pulling up stuff way in the past from IRC, which I am banned from and nobody can look at the logs of to prove for or against your case? Then, I'll go back through them and add lots of references and redo the wording and add information to the paragraphs. And yeah, I'm doing it for a site title that has no value beyond what I give to it. And you know something else? I'm doing it just to prove I can.

Epyc, a word of advice: STOP.

The sole reason everybody hates you is because you constantly attack the moderators and make yourself seem to be the better man. And when both of these things fail (usually at the same time), instead of letting go and moving on, you instead intensify your criticisms and self-defense, despite being proven wrong time and time again.

You won't achieve absolutely anything this way. If you want people to respect you, then stop ranting about how moderators should change, or how the site should be more generous with titles and badges, and instead just contribute. While I will agree that the PM is insanely old an unrelated, can you proof you didn't do anything wrong? The logs argument works both ways. With logs no longer available, it boils down to witness reports, which I don't fear.

If you actually get depressed over these actions, you have my sincerest apologies. One's behavior is no excuse to wish depression over them.

Yet at the same time I will also bring the advice that you are your own worst enemy in that. You know the Bernie and Egoraptor jokes are ill received, yet intentionally continue with them to bait folks. Same for other jokes, and even once more today when you bumped your own thread after it got no replies.

While the behavior some are showing towards you is cancer, the tumor that started it were your own continuous jokes. I'm responding to this because I barely give any fucks about the following posts (plus they're too long).

In TvTropes, The Scrappy is not always exclusive to fictional characters. The Scrappy refers to a character, a being, that most of the base dislikes if not downright despise.

Nearly all entries in TVT are, of course, about fictional works, which is why when there's a Scrappy entry added to the YMMV page, it's about fictional characters.

But, TVT also has pages for non-fictional stuff. Such as a KYM page. The rules still apply, only with some changes: The base, becomes KYM's userbase. The Scrappy, is a character most dislike or hate, and in this case, Character=User.

Whether Wyny was real or fictional is completely irrelevant, because in that particular case, they're not talking about a fictional work with fictional characters. KYM is a real website with a real userbase, the userbase mostly dislikes Epyc, with some exceptions, which is why the Scrappy trope effectively applies to him.

We could also optionally use the logic that the one being tagged as the Scrappy is Epyc Win, the KYM user/persona, and not the Real Life person behind said user/persona, thus the trope could still apply even if the "no real life people" rule (that honestly, I've never heard being mentioned or enforced in TVT, ever. Where did you get that idea?) was enforced.

The Scrappy page has a "No Real Life Examples, Please!" notice; thus, real people cannot be added as Scrappies. Simple as that.

Y'know what, after trying to give you as many chances as I reasonably could, offering to help you, giving you advice, and trying to be nice – I'm sure I've slipped up in some places, but I believe they are the exception rather than the rule – I'm done with you.

No no no. That notice means that you cannot add real life examples to it's page. Read: Examples. The ones mentioned on it's page or subpages.

They can be added where it's more necesary because it's mostly Real Life, for example the Professional Wrestling subpage.

They can also be added when they're technically not talking about a Real Life example. Like I said, in KYM's page's case, Character=User. When calling someone a Scrappy, they're not calling a Real Life person a Scrappy, but the persona that they use Online.

Basically, to give an hypothetical example ,it's like if in Real Life, people feel fine about you, but most players hate your WoW character for whatever reasons. You would be a Scrappy…or more precisely, your WoW character would be a Scrappy, but not the person behind the character.

Get what I'm saying? The Scrappy is the online mask, not the person hiding with it.
