With Marble Hornets having ended, the guys behind it at THAC (Troy Has a Camera) have started a new horror series called "Clear Lakes 44," which is being uploaded to the same channel as Mable Hornets. Some speculate already it's possibly a sequel to MH, but it's a bit too early to say with 100% certainty (it certainly could be a sequel series, but it's also possible they just put both shows on the same channel because they don't want MH fans to overlook the new series).

So far it's uncertain if this is another Slenderman series, or something dealing with a new horror related topic, but the format of the show is both similar yet different from MH. Like MH the episodes are uploaded as numbered "broadcasts," similar to how MH episodes were numbered "entries." But so far unlike MH we're not following the story through the camera lens in a Blair Witch Project "found footage" style, but rather through what appear to be hidden cameras placed throughout locations in a town, with everything being "broadcast" through a fictional public access-like TV station called "Clear Lakes 44."

What is Clear Lakes 44 and what is their purpose behind showing these slightly distorted looks at this unnamed town? So far the answer is unclear, but like Marble Hornets before it, it is clear the mystery will unravel as the series progresses.

For a timeline of events leading up to the start of the series, check this thread from the THAC forums

And here is the first video in the series:
