Ok so I just got done watching both of them, and while I don't really watch cartoons anymore, Infinity Train looks ok, but Victor and Valentino looks absolutely awesome, seriously. I love DoTD and Mexican/Spanish-themed stuff, so that by itself is an instant seller, but the execution of it is really great too.

I'm not too fond of Victor's voice actor and the art style looks too generic compared to other modern cartoons for my liking, but those of course can be changed around a little if need be. It definitely has promise and I wanna see more.

decided to revive this thread for the sake of this update

new Lakewood Plaza Turbo shorts were leaked

chance of being picked-up for a full show increases

Cartoon Network is really pushing this new house style, huh? Like, perfectly round eyes, sausage shaped smiles, intricately painted backgrounds contrasted with flatly coloured and simplified character designs, etc. I suppose this is just aping the Adventure Time look, but it still gets kind of tiring to look at after a while.

Adventure Time looks completely different from the other shows tho
as far as your comment about round heads go, that is just basic character design 101 that's been around since the Golden Age

And it is not like their old shows were all that unique with their thick outlines and jagged edges

Still, I em shocked right now that they chose this thing over all of the pilots they had so far
