I'm sounding like a broken record about this, but for some reason I just can't shake these feelings off of me. I guess it has to do with seeing it all over the Internet and can't help but feel like it's forced on me that I couldn't ignore it and move on. I'd post this on the JoJo General thread, but I feel this is a better way of going at it if I wanna look for people who don't like it also.
Look, I think Jojo's a good show and have no problems if you enjoy the show, but honestly I just can't force myself to like it as much as practically everyone else. I don't like the character designs, the characters (except Dio), and art style--I just feel it doesn't match the supposed over-the-top nature like Gurren Lagann or Kill la Kill's art styles do.
On top of that, the toxic part of the fandom drove me away from watching more of the show. I've seen only a few episodes of Parts 1, 2, and 3--like I said, good show but really not something for me to hype over. I don't care if it has Western music references (I do like the creator's taste in music though), I don't care if it's over 30 years old, I don't care how influential it apparently is--all of that isn't gonna make me like it as much as you do.
