Star Wars opening text crawl 'parodies'. No offense to any fans, but I have never seen a Star Wars movie. Ever. I just haven't gotten around to it yet. But how is it that I, as someone who is not a fan, can be so FED UP with opening text crawl parodies while the actual fanbase – people that have probably seen twenty times as many of them as I have STILL find it funny or even the least bit entertaining? Just… how!? I can't watch videos of bootleg Star Wars toys or Star Wars video game reviews/playthroughs because I know for a fact that it will contain an opening text crawl parody because "it's never been done before guys" and it will just sour my entire experience.
Fidget spinners mentioned without real context. Fidget spinners. That's the joke. First of all, I don't have an interest in them. But that's fine. People are free to enjoy things that they like. At least, I thought they were. Apparently, the mere mention of a fidget spinner is supposed to make me bust a gut. Something's spinning in a video game? The LPer will call it a fidget spinner and the chat/comments will eat it up. What exactly is the punchline here? People enjoy things that I don't? Har har…? Way to alienate potential viewers of your content for absolutely no reason, creators. At least when things like Sonic OCs are mocked, there's a reason – the edgy, unoriginal, Mary Sue examples of such.
