I can finaly watch the show legaly (without paying a few hundred euros for used dvds). Thats sure is nice.
I'm also curious for the dub. I could only watch NGE on illegal streaming sites, so it always had english dub/sub. But I'm from Germany, so getting my hands on the german dub will be interesting. I've found one scene from it on youtube once, and it sounded relativly promising.

Also, regarding the trailer: Same as the trailers for the Platinum Collection, NGE is again purely advertiesed as an action-show. Not wrong, but I'm sure unknowing viewer will be surprised by the shift in tone and themes in the later episodes.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is finally able to be watched legally?

I'm happy that it's finally getting a release that isn't out of print or illegal, for one. It's been a good four years since the period in my life where I obsessed over it, so now that I'm older I think I'll be able to appreciate it much more. I'm also interested in seeing how younger anime fans react to it now that it's going to be on a more widely-available platform.

Revisiting it is suddenly the first idea I have. It's been a long time.
