Beastars on Netflix

Well, yesterday Beastars made it's way to North American Netflix. That's one I've been keeping an eye on for long while now, actively avoiding spoilers the whole way. Honestly? I love it. It just feels so emotionally genuine. This looks like it's shaping up to be favorites-list material.

Though one neat thing that caught me off guard was how they did the opening.

Anyone else know where an anime has done a stop-motion thing like this? It's rare that I see the two meet at all.

I was one of those who watched an early release of it before it reached to this part of the world, but because of my slow pace, I missed the last two episodes. In any case, I'm lovin' it. I was a little weirded out by the use of the 3D animation at first, but not only I got used to it, I see how it improved upon itself later on. Oh, and I've also seen the manga. The things I've seen, you won't believe it.
