It time again, the new year-end list is here, and of course this is where we discuss it and the songs. First, here are the songs that have KYM articles and how they placed (not including ones from last year's list)

  1. - Uptown Funk
  2. - Trap Queen
  3. - Watch Me
  4. - Hotline Bling
  5. - Hello
  6. - Nasty Freestyle

Here are my Top 10 songs, I had to make a stretch since there were so few that I really liked this year . Another hard part was to find out the order for my top 4, but I think I got it.

10. Riptide
9. Ghost
8. Centuries
7. Uma Thurman
6. Sugar
5. Can't Feel My Face
4. Shut Up and Dance
3. Take Me to Church
2. Renegades
1. Ex's and Oh's

There were also others that appeared in the Hot 100 but didn't make the list that would appear in my Top 10 if they made the Year-End. These include

Cecilia and the Satellite
Prayer in C
Ghost Town

And now my bottom 10, and there were enough songs I hated to make it 10

10. Watch Me
9. Worth It
8. Nasty Freestyle
7. Flex (Ooh, Ooh Ooh)
6. Only
5. Thinking Out Loud
4. GDFR
3. Photograph
2. Hit the Quan
1. I Don't F*** with You

I honestly had no idea of most music this year…I've kind of lost track or interest in some cases.

Here's the video most people were awaiting though:

thats all i need to know this guy's opinion on music is irrelevant

Just gonna go off topic slightly that I honestly don't care for A Dose of Buckley, it's clear to me this guy really is a good example of a total cynic I wouldn't like to be around. Like he always comes off sounding like he'll be a major buzzkill. I heard his girlfriend left him because she couldn't stand his overly cynical behavior, and as much of an asshole as this will likely make me sound, I honestly do not blame her at all.

Now back on topic, Uptown Funk's a good song to be #1 honestly. I love it when Bruno Mars is doing music that sounds like it could have been big in the 1970s (Treasure is a favorite of mine as well).

Of course when it comes to other music from this year… hmm I admit I don't have much. Well Breaking Benjamin came out with a new album and I really like it. The singles I've heard off of Fall Out Boy's new album are good too, especially Uma Thurman (sampling the theme song from The Munsters? Yes please). Missy Elliot is back and "WTF (Where They From)" is awesome, and I liked her on the remix of Jack U's "Take U There." Hmm… I'm not sure what else to list as my favorite songs specific to just 2015.

i liked pop music this year

cheerleader and lean on were legit good tracks

also watch me should be much higher on your list of 10 worst, higher then rich homie quan, at least.

I didn't personally like Fall Out Boy's new record. Granted, it's completely different then the Fall Out Boy of the mid 2000s, and I'm a stubborn bastard, but I really don't like the pop direction. It also seems like their song lyrics are Pete Wentz channeling his inner Beck and that doesn't appeal to me.
