Basically music that's usually hated by a good amount of people, but yet you still take a personal liking to it for whatever reason, be it because it's "so bad it's good" or you actually think it's good because it manages to sound appealing to you.

One of the biggest examples for me of a specific band: Blood on the Dance Floor and Dahvie Vanity's side project Master of Death

A "scene" (you know, that off-shoot of emo that's like emo mixed with rave culture) band that's managed to outlive the days of MySpace by a large margin, usually combining electronic music and crunkcore (a genre often seen as "so bad it's hilarious"), and… I actually unironically enjoy a good number of their songs. Why? Honestly it's hard to explain. Now one song of theirs I like BECAUSE it sounds silly is "Yo Ho," it's basically a song that uses constant pirate metaphors for sex, but yet still throws in a line about being a "ninja," it's so ridiculous that I love it because of that reason. But songs like "Call Me Master," "Cruel Pornography," "Safe Word," "Where's My Wonderland?", much of the stuff off of Dahvie Vanity's "Master of Death" solo project album, and shit even one of their more disliked songs "Bewitched," I actually really like these songs unironically.

Also their cover of "Knock Out," originally by Lil Wayne (you know, from that brief stint where he did rock songs), IMO is actually much better than Wayne's version:

Next up is probably one that's gonna get arguably more of a "the fuck?" reaction: I actually rather like some of Justin Beiber's more recent songs. I should note however that at first I DIDN'T know it was Beiber who did these songs, I thought it was someone else. When I found out it was him my reaction was "oh wow good job Beiber, you actually made songs I like, just hope your attitude is better than it was last I heard about it…". In particular I actually really like "What Do You Mean?" and "Sorry"

When I was a kid I used to watch MTV, it was the early 2000's so I was exposed to edgy rock bands like Korn, SOAD, Linkin Park and, of course, Limb Bizkit…[sigh] those were the dark ages of my youth.

Anyways, even if you hate them for their sins (specially for that cover) you gotta admit that "Take A Look Around" still holds up:

I don't know if it's widely hated, but I personally don't really like a lot of boy band K-Pop. Partly because much of it is just pretty boys dancing (which I mean if you're a girl I can't really blame you for liking it) and partly because it sounds pretty similar to American pop bands like Backstreet Boys.

I do like this song in particular though.

Also, I for some reason have a soft spot for really sappy love/romance songs. Even if they say it in Engrish.

Dubstep is one of the main types of music I listen on a daily basis. I have a tone of fun listening to it and its alway nice to see many artist but their own spin on the EDM genre. I find it a guilty pleasure because whenever I seem to bring it up in a music conversation. people either say "thats still a thing?" or "Oh that annoying skrillex shit". And so whenever I talk to people about my musical taste I go for my taste in Thrash/Heavy/Power metal or my fondness for music from the 30s to 50s. Simply because I find it less embarrassing to share. :D

Even though nu metal gets a lot of shit. I kinda like some of it.

I like Linken Park and Nickelback enough to enjoy certain songs if they come on the radio. Since I liked them before I even knew of their apparent unpopularity, I don't even feel any guilt. I also like Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball and Nicki Minaj's Anaconda, Bring me to Life, and the same two Justin Bieber songs that Fortune mentioned.

At the end of the day, I listen to the music, not the band, the music video, or the internet backlash. As long as the person who made the song doesn't kill babies, I'll live. I don't watch music videos. And I don't care how many times it got used in early 2000's AMVs. When music is good, it's good.

Most of my guilty pleasures are from the pop punk/emo genre. Basically, I would like some songs from certain bands like Fallout Boy, All-American Rejects, My Chemical Romance, but not all of them. I do however like most of the Panic of the Disco including the Death of a Bachelor album that got mixed reviews from what I heard. Then there are those songs which are not hated, but are basically the butt of a joke in some ways. Here some examples:
First, there this song from Evanescence which is obvious why this is joked on a lot.

This second song I going to point is a bit NSFW I feel like due to a lot of f-bombs and some sexually explicit language, but not a whole lot.. Also, this song is perhaps the one that I have the love/hate relationship with the most. To describe it, think if a "fuckboy" made a song. It's that bad, but too catchy for me to get away from it.

Some other honorable mentions that aren't from the pop punk/emo genre are the Ghost Stories Opening song and then there is this other catchy stuff from a band called Jump 5.

ABBA, definitely ABBA.

There are two songs by 3OH!3 I really like, despite having bad lyrics. I like them mainly for the choruses.

Also, when it comes to these guys I like the former simply for its second half and the latter for its beat.

I guess to add to this, I'm someone who still unironically enjoys listening to nu-metal, metalcore, and deathcore, three metal genres that seem to be generally hated by certain "elitist" groups of metal fans. I also mentioned this in the "Unpopular Opinions" thread, and said I still think they act as good "gateway" genres, and that I doubt anyone really ever "grows out" of liking these genres at least to some extent.

For nu-metal I still like to listen to stuff like both old and new school Korn:

And for deathcore I like to listen to stuff like Suicide Silence (both classic Mitch Lucker era and the new Eddie Hermida era stuff [Lucker died in 2012 after an unfortunate accident on his motorbike]) and Rings of Saturn:

Also if "avant garde deathcore" is a thing then Iwrestledabearonce (yes there are no spaces in their name) is certainly one. It's one of the few deathcore bands I can think of that's always had a female vocalist, and they're the kind of band where if you only ever looked at the members in photos you'd think they're a bunch of hipsters that do indie rock, but nope. Their name by the way comes from a Gary Busey quote.

Pretty much most of what Cecaelia mentioned. Also I'm not sure what reputation Fall Out Boy and Paramore get, but I'll list them too just because I primarily listened to them in my "edgy middle/high school" phase (yes it lasted until high school god help me), and I still listen to them today.
I'm also gonna put mainstream radio as well, mostly because I don't listen to top 40 stations as much as I used to (it helps having a car), but I do enjoy those stupid yet ridiculously catchy songs that end up being overplayed to death.

I actually really, really like 90s Post-Black Album Metallica, specifically Load and Reload. I admit that they're not in their top form during that time (I actually really dislike their cover of Motorhead's song Overkill, and I dare not touch St. Anger), but I really like those two albums, simply because the songs from them are so much better compared to modern hard rock/metal. An example of one such song is this:

As an aside, "Fuel" is actually THE first Metallica song I've ever heard (I was 5-6 at the time), as it was basically the theme song for Hot Wheels: Turbo Racing on the PS1 (From what I understand, the N64 version doesn't have the song, due to the cartridge's limited memory space).

Seriously, does that song not pump you up, even a little?

I also like this song as well (kind of NSFW), because not only does it predate that one track by My Darkest Days in terms of content, but it also does it better in my opinion:

This song is Russian so I don't understand any of it, but it was in one of my favourite video games ever so I've started to really like it after awhile.

Everything 80's. Especially Hair Metal.

I love trap. But liking this makes me wanna rethink my tastes.

I'll generally listen to anything as long as it distracts me and keeps me busy, but one thing I listen to that I'm sometimes a bit hesitant to mention when discussing what I like to listen to is meme songs and soundclown mashups (If you can even call them music).

Stuff like this I really like because there's a lot going on in it and there's a lot to focus on, which is what I like to look for when I listen to something. As long as it distracts me and maybe I can get a few chuckles along with it I'll probably like it and listen to it unironically.

Insane Clown Posse and their juggalos usually get a bad rep, but I admit that I like this song:

Smash Mouth is my guilty pleasure. It might be the fact a ton of their songs were plastered all over the place in the lat 90's and early 00's.
