Pretty much songs that even without context can hit you in the feels (but especially with context). What songs/soundtracks do you find heartbreaking?

RIP The King of the Monsters

As you can expect with OST, the context makes an already good stand-alone song way more amazing.

To be honest I'd say pretty much this entire album, but here's one song in particular off of it I feel really hits me:

There are quite a few impactful songs in this series, but I ultimately decided to go with this one.

I love me some good hymns, religious or not.

Not heartbreaking, but certainly powerful.

I've come to associate it with horrifyingly high stakes, and generally being better for time-related crises than anything by Murray Gold. To me, it's become an increasingly frantic countdown with all of reality on the line. If that's not emotional, I don't know what is.

Listening to this at 2 AM does a lot to your emotions.
