They finally did it. They finally listened to what we've been telling them to do:
They made their songs available to stream and download.
Say good-bye to any soundtrack reposts, especially for the more popular games (and maybe half of the SiivaGunner catalogue).

Youtube channels like SiivaGunner, 31 Horas Music and Pokemon Music Master are sweating heavily as we speak.
How complete that music library anyway?

Knowing Nintendo, like 10% of all 1st party franchises, tops
As much as I like the new app, I know people will still repost on YouTube cause that’s where the comments are
If they don't publish unused songs, that spooky song from that Paper Mario game nor GameCube ones like Star Fox Adventures, COUNT. ME. OUT!

SiivaGunner will survive because I'm pretty sure they do a lot of remixes, but the rest of that cottage industry might have issues, yeah.

We need other parties as well or the app is immediately a failure.
Yeah, the best place you'll find just about anything you're looking for will be on Youtube because of it's monopoly. This collection nintendo is supplying will be incomplete because of a number of reasons – the biggest one probably being music supplied by third parties and liscensed music.
For anyone who's interested, there's one other site I know of called khinsider that is a very good alternative to youtube as well.
