I've tried to find a certain song, but I just can't find it. I first heard it in a laundry detergent commercial in which a woman drives with a full laundry basket on top of her car so she could hand them up to dry in a open field. I've heard it in other places such as Buffalo Wild Wings, but could never make out what's being said. I made a Vocaroo recording of me slurring the melody (I apologize for my bad singing), but if you can recognize it from the melody, please tell me.

Can you name any other details about the song? Like what style/genre music was it from? Was the singer male or female? Does it sound like it came out in a specific time period, e.g. 80's, late 90's, etc.? Notable instruments? Year you first heard it?
Can you Refer us to the commercial you heard it in? The product name, for instance
Neutral Milk Hotel – King of Carrot Flowers
I can't remember what exact brand of detergent it was, my best guess is All. It has a fast tempo, kind of a bluesy feel, and also had this weird sounding instrument in it that sounded like a synthesized viola.

Don't know how recently you saw the commercial, but I found one similar to the one you described that aired back in May 2002 that uses the song "Going Up The Country" by Canned Heat.
Anyway here's the song:

THANK YOU! You've finally found it for me. Thread can come to a close now, but I'll have to remember this.
