I don't know, but apparently KnowYourMeme is still linked on their site.
Neither Twitter account has anything on this, so I don't know what else to say. Wait for a Staff member, but I just wanted to give input.
Cheezeburger (and KYM) was bought by Literally Media back in February. Looks like they're splitting KYM away from the Cheezeburger sites, which kind of makes sense given KYM was never really that much a Cheezeburger site.
