I imagine that i'm out of the loop due to being inactive for a while, but I've noticed that now Tweets as examples in meme pages/galleries always seem to be just the text cut out whereas before it tended to be a screenshot of the whole thing.

Was there some kind of policy change? I tried to look it up but couldn't really find anything about it.

Are you referring to entries like the Superman one that's trending currently? That may just be Matt's personal preference for uploading tweets. As far as I am aware there are no official policies or guidelines regulating screen-caps of tweets.

The admins have said that they prefer the tweets with just the user info and tweet content because it looks neater.
