When I am signed on, on the homepage, it says "NEW> You have 0 unread messages , 0 new wall posts and 1 follower". I have seven followers. However, only one of them is registered as a friend.

I know. It's actually the number that signifies how many people YOU are following. It's kind of misleading, I agree.

OH, that needs to be edited.

It's the number of friends for me. Also, I'm not following anyone.
