Not major things but:

1. After you post something in a thread, you're not automatically subscribed. You have to select the 'subscribe' square everytime you do this. Could this be fixed?

2. After a thread is closed after 30 days of no activity, make it so that it gets removed from you subscription list automatically, so that it doesn't flood over.

Well. I saw later that Jack Candle complainted about the first one, but to me it comes in handy. The last version of this site had this feature and it came in handy to notice how the thread developed after I posted something.

How about a feature that will allow each user to choose if they want the box to start checked or not? Everybody wins.

EDIT: Also, how can a closed thread flood over? Am I missing something important here?

Well. Everytime I post something, I forget to subscribe, 'caus I'm not used to it. Later I find out that said thread is pretty big and that I have to read the whole thread over to catch up.

By 'flooding over' I mean: If you subscribe to a lot of threads who gets closed after 30 days, they stay as subscribed on your list. If you keep subscribing, sooner or later you have like 2 or 3 pages filled with closed threads you don't need enymore.

Yersh, I think it should be automatically subscribed.

I stand by me idea of an Automatically subscribe to threads checkbox on Edit my Profile. Everybody wins.

What if, once subscribed, and once notified of new posts, you wouldn't get another notification until you checked the thread again, or logged in, or something. That way, if you're subscribed to a thread, and somebody hijacks it or starts a flame war, you don't come back to 40 emails about the same thread.

I realize some people like knowing if X thread is getting Y amount of attention, and from whom, so if that's the case, forget I said anything.
