I come to know your meme often to source the newest memes that come up, and some of the old ones that rehash.

Problem is, I know ONE particular meme, where it's been locked down in full shitpost mode, with full admittance that it's wrong, and yet none of my attempts and suggestions for edits are being allowed, and none of my attempts to garner edit abilities are being allowed either.

So my query is, is shitposting just a thing that happens on here?

1.) Who are you?
2.) Is it safe to assume you're a troll by your name and join date?
3.) The fuck are you even talking about?

Shitposting should be contained to /riff-raff/ with the exception of the rare comment here or there. Articles are not permitted to be shitpost without being removed from the database. You can post your a request here in the forums or PM an entry mod and we can add you to an entry if you have a good enough reason, although generally some site activity is preferred before requesting editorship (either through forum, comments, or image contributions).

1. Somebody who was there to see the meme take off when it took off, and knows full well the information currently posted is false.

2. That's a fair assessment considering what you're being presented with, but no, on this occasion I want to remove the troll's material and put in the true origin of the meme.

3. A meme that has been doing the rounds for a long time, whose post on this site is completely incorrect, is marked as "not valid" and yet is still up, and is not being edited.
