This is a tragedy somehow greater than the Christchurch shooting that will be discussed rapidly for a week than forgotten about.

Pretty much everyone felt the effects of Christchurch attacks but this one, I don't think so.

Hate to be dismissive of it
yeah it’s sad, but nothing will be done about it and everyone will forget within a few weeks

and B this shit happens all the time
I was wrong. Sri Lankans did feel the effects of the bombing due to social media shutdown. This obviously raises concerns of various institutions being able to exploit deaths of others to silence people.

By the way, if shutdown of social media doesn't help against further attacks or is even exploited by further criminals (let alone government), it will be very bad.
