In the meantime, what about a parent entry for all the viral video memes as a workaround while we're on Meme DB 1.6?

Likewise, I wonder if we should have a separate way of indicating that something is an 'internet phenomena' as separate from 'meme'.

I say "aye." Even though a video may be popular, it may not be a meme. We need to differentiate the two so people can see the difference. However, there are a ton of viral videos, so it may get a ton of submissions.
