Sorry, but no.

This idea has been proposed 1000 times now and it was rejected or ignored every single time. The voting system will stay as it is.

And we're not here to comply for your personal wishes.

Edit: There, fixed your upvote.

Thanks for responding, but why does the voting system has to stay how it is?

Probably to prevent abuse (and the fact that votes take up resources).

If people were able to undo (and redo votes), then it wouldn't take long until someone would try and rapidly click the one of vote buttons to achieve an effect similar to the negative favorite bug.

Perhaps some research should be done into how Youtube set up its voting system. Seeing as being able to undo would benefit what content goes up or down and is already part of the Youtube voting system, perhaps Youtube does something correctly that should be looked into so this can be fixed in the future.

IIRC, 3 or 4 years ago, one was able to switch their vote.

People abused of the system by changing their votes in order to troll users, the mods decided to remove the feature to prevent more problems.

I may be wrong on how it went but I know that's the reason why it was removed and never implemented again.

I understand, thanks for the explanation.
