It's especially annoying when the gallery itself is marked as NSFW. I knew what I was getting into; otherwise I wouldn't have clicked on it!

This kind of idea has been brought up numerous times before, this is the most recent.

Basically the site just isn't built for it. It'd be too hard to make.

Clarification after someone said I wasn't clear enough:

The ability to toggle any nsfw image's cover just doesn't seem likely to happen. As I said, the site apparently isn't made that way, so it'd require a major overhaul to work.

James has time put fifty(seemingly) pointless changes to the image setup but no time to make a way to turn off nsfw tags.

There is a way to turn off nsfw though, its in the admin area for Scrapbookers, you can even see nc stuff in there.

Ehh NON didn't express it too well. If you go to the main page there should be a button at the top that says "admin area". That should bring you to a page with untagged images. In a dropdown list at the top, there's an option for "NSFW" images. Click on that, it shows you all NSFW images that are on site, including those removed from normal view (but not those actually purged from the site), without the NSFW spoiler over it. Be warned: This includes many less-savory images. It's entirely possible you'll find such lovely things as RL scat, RL gore, and pony porn.

Well, yes and no.

What won't work is individual preferences, as this would require a seperate cache of all images for every account. Do the math, the servers can't handle that.

A general off-switch, like the Fewer Ponies button, should be doable.

I'll provide screenshots so he can have a better idea on where to look.

On the Front Page, there will be a button on the right-hand side that says "Admin Area" (shown below):

Click the button and it will take you to this page:

Note that it will take you to the Untagged Images section as it won't directly take you to the main part.

Now, go to the drop down menu that has the icon with the mountain and square sun on it and that is for all the media-related content on the site. (be sure to click the icon first as it doesn't automatically open the menu for you)

What it looks like.

There's pages for images that are untagged and untitled, along with NSFW-flagged images. Keep in mind that the images in NSFW section are visible and contain inappropriate content such as stuff Rivers mentioned.

Individual preferences? General off-switch?
