Does the "Spoiler" button save users with slower computers the burden of YouTube embeds in forum posts?

A user pointed out to me that with the computer they are using causes problems when viewing embedded YT videos.

By using the spoiler button including a regular embed of a YT video, can this be avoided?

Another small question, does using the spoiler button in my posts of anything that is of a considerable size (as in bytes) prevent the end viewer from having to load that? thanks

Since I'm not a mod I am well aware of doublepost stigma

It is maybe an experiment that could be easily done.

To be completely discreet, (to James), IS this a something that can be avoided.

As, a reference. to the fact that embedding youtube videos in contrast:

The main question is that if you put a YT video in a spoiler "textile" type code
versus the actual embedding of the video.

Would the download rate suffer ? As far as viewing it as the end viewer?
