I have a PS3, and I have a couple Black Knight Swords.

And, let's go ahead and get the rankings out of the way.

Dark Souls>Demon's Souls>Dark Souls II

Xbox all the way with DaS1 and 2. madcat's ordering would be the same for me, though in all honesty I've yet to beat DeS, despite having beaten Dark 1 a dozen times- should I try and barrel through it?

Also I wonder how long this thread will go before someone renders praise unto a certain solar body…

B-but what's wrong with praising the Sun?
And Demon's Souls is more difficult than the other Souls games, from my experience, so it may be worth a shot for the experience. Although the Valley of Defilement can go fuck itself.

As for myself, played both Dark Souls 1 and 2 on PC and Demon's Souls on the Xbox.
DkS1 is better than the sequel, but the margin between them is relatively small for me.

Oh, you should try to go through Demon's Souls. The dark atmosphere comes through really well in the game, the magic system is nice, the lore is amazing, and the bosses are great. The layout of any given level is super unique, too. Definitely give it another shot.
