So, Quintet was a company from way back in the 90s. They made some great games, such as:

Actraiser
Soul Blazer
Illusion of Gaia
and Terranigma

I've played and beaten the hell out of Actraiser and Soul Blazer growing up. Beat Illusion of Gaia recently. I haven't beaten Terranigma, but I plan to some day.

What about you guys? Have you ever heard of any of these games? I'd definitely recommend trying them out.

I've played through Terranigma a few times, and it's definitely an awesome game. Unfortunately I had to play it on an emulator to get an english language version.

My girlfriend has Terranigma for the SNES, but unfortunately it's the german version. Neither of us know german, so it's kinda difficult to complete unless you know where to go and what to do by heart. The overworld and main theme of Terranigma are both godlike, and I still use Yomi's theme as my family group ringtone.

I haven't played other Quintet games just yet, but if they are as good as Terranigma was, then I probably should.

And Muumi delivers his fine taste in video games yet again.

Well, people like to look at Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma as the "Soul Blazer trilogy".
Basically, the three games share some recurring themes, a character from Soul Blazer appears in Illusion of Gaia, and there's some secret room in Terranigma where you can meet the developers, one of which refers to the game as "Illusion of Gaia 2".

Also, Soul Blazer is seen as a spiritual sequel to Actraiser.

Either way, I can say that they're all pretty great games.
