I'm being honest here, Roblox wasn't as bad as it was in 12'. I occasionally play it once in a while and the community is actually tolerable. Way less Online Daters and Hackers. With the inclusion of more OC. Just my two cents..

Have you been playing Carmageddon, by any chance?

I remember I went into some roleplay server. There was some crazy shit happening in the server's chat. I checked it out, and believe me when I say that two people were ROLEPLAY FUCKING. With all the refreshing sounds of " removes ur pants ", " sucks ur dk ". Later in that server, some girls just asks me "wanna spoon". And then I just left the server.

EDIT: Also.. "sucks ur dk"

If it wasn't for the community, this game would be alright. Think about it; the games are made by the community, I heard the prices of items or whatever was caused by the community, and the overall experiences ingame was caused by the community It's a shame.

In an MMO, community makes or breaks the game. Case in point: I think Runescape is a great game, despite what many say, but the community just fucking SUCKS! It's like 90% tryhards, stop having fun guys, or annoying kids, and that's before you factor in the innumerable gold farming bots.

Final Fantasy XI, on the other hand, I think has aged terribly. I don't think I ever did anything beyond grind the entire time I played it, but I played for as long as I did because the community is rather tightly knit. My Linkshell was full of cool people. Hell, I met my best friend there. But as a game? Fuck no, it's awful.

I remember Roblox, I never played it, but I watched videos of it in 2010.
It was bad.

Roblox was my shit in like 2008-2010

Back when the griefing was never too serious and you could be pretty sure that the games on the front page were actually what they were advertising themselves as rather than a clone of some shitty tycoon

But yeah… The Roblox videos on YouTube were always cringeworthy.

I used to be into those "Build an empire" kinda games that were actually pretty fun and popular, and actually made good use of the multiplayer building mechanics.

Nowadays it's all about whose avatar can look the least pre-pubescent in RP games like Roblox's Next Top Model. (Yup, that's a thing that exists.)
