Use this thread to tell everyone about your current experiences in the world of video games, what you just enjoyed, what you didn't just enjoy, and why your tastes are OBJECTIVELY BETTER than mine.

I'm currently tidying up the last few bits of Digimon Cyber Sleuth (since all the DLC is now released and FREE). I've written quite a bit recently on the ways in which the latest Digimon does several things better than Pokemon currently does, and with what's likely going to be a new game announcement for Pokemon on Friday it's a cool time to be a fan of both franchises.

Recently also just got the normal end on Megadimension Neptunia VII. It's alright … standard Nep game. Best one Compile Heart have done by a long way but still doesn't break their usual formula much. Functioning framerate is nice to have for a change though.

I will pick up Bravely Second on Friday but I have no streaming or capture capabilities for 3DS sadly. Still I've heard it improves on the minor few flaws of the first one and will let you people know how it is.

I'm currently playing Xenoblade chronicles X Post-game stuff, superbosses sidequests and affinity quests, i have so much left to do in that game
Also Half minute hero:the second coming An extremely underrated gem (And the original half minute hero too) its a fun, fast paced rpg with nice characters and fantastic music the first game is really self aware of what happens and the second continues that. Its just fun
I've been playing skullgirls trying to not get rekted online, im getting better but still need a lot to learn

Currently in the middle of my second playthrough of Undertale, trying to get the "true pacifist" ending. I'm the worst and bullet hell games, so I'll probably never do a genocide run. I didn't even managed to beat Papyrus. He captured me three times and then just let me go by.

Sometimes I still play Civ 5, but I can never get to the end of a game anymore. It just gets boring when I reach the industrial era. Turns take longer to resolve because there is so much more to do with tourism, diplomacy, the world congress, new resources, and a higher variety of military units. Sometimes I wish the game just stayed simple all throughout.

I have a few games that I own but haven't played and have been wanting to actually try out, but for some reason I never actually do it. Valkyria Chronicles, Banner Saga, and Jet Set Radio, to name a few. It is possible that video games on the whole are dying as an interest of mine, as I don't really play much anymore, and when I do it is always something I already know.

Lately been playing Morrowind since dec 25, which despite it's age is still the best Elder Scrolls game. It's not overly complicated like Daggerfall nor as dumbed down as Skyrim. Playing as a Redguard warrior build that I saw someone suggest and just started the main quest at level 7 after doing some Fighters Guild quests.

I've also been playing a game called Bio Menace, it's an old dos game that's pretty much the first two Duke Nukems. And also been playing some Blood, which is Duke Nukem 3d but in a horror setting.

A few days ago I started playing xcom 2. I've never played any other xcom games, so we all know how well my first few missions went. Aside from constantly getting grappled by vipers and missing 95% chance shots, it's a pretty damn good vidya gaym. I've played it so much that I got butthurt. Literally. My first session lasted to 10 pm to 12 am the next day. When I woke up my ass was sore. Probably from all the clenching I did. Anyway, good game. Go play it and have fun getting killed to death multiple times

Playing through Dark Souls again since DS3's been announced. Started up an Anti-paladin "build" that uses pyromancy, heavy armor, and a Black Knight Sword.

Also got Jet Set Radio on deck and might pick up Valkyria Chronicles since Steam gave me a 75% off coupon on it. Haven't heard many good things about it and only know so much from Yahtzee's review and Lythero's streams (though he seemed like he's enjoyed it and it does look fun) but hell, it's ~$5.

Right now I'm working on Mad Max and Bloodborne.

I also picked up Scholar of the First Sin for DkS2 and I really want to play it, but transitioning from the fast pace of Bloodborne to the incredibly slow pace of DkS2 is proving to be rather difficult.

I also plan on starting a genocide run of Undertale soon because I want to do that while my pacifist run is still fresh in my mind.

Oooh forgot i was just about to start playing valkyria chronicles just bought that since i got a 75% off coupon
I was also playing gunstar heroes, 1st time playing that game, i love it
And undertale i've been messing around with the debug menu
Dont give up with genocide, im not good with bullet hell games either but undertale is more about memorization, its gonna take you a couple of tries but you can do ti, give it a try

I am currently playing Dark Souls 2 (I was mainly inspired by Ms. Fortune's Dark Souls thread). I beat most of the main game bosses while using a sorcery build and got to level 246 on new game by grinding the Giant Lord while wearing full extra souls gear. I am going to try to beat all the DLCs (as well as Vendrick and the Ancient Dragon) before I go after Nashandra. I shouldn't have too much problems however since I have got my timing and dodging down.

Right now I'm trying to stick to one game at a time, it helps me get through things at a better pace. Right now I've been marathoning the Far Cry series, and I'm finally at Far Cry 4. I won't be getting Primal on release though, that will have to wait.

I'm just replaying Red Dead Redemption, then I might play Fallout 3's DLCs that I never touched. Also like Fortune I'll get the Far Cry series it's got a lot of hype but I've never really got to play one game in it before

Playing Final Fantasy Type-0 on PC, I discovered a way to get free EXP by changing the date of my computer. Being high level really helps in some missions, I love cheating in every game I play.

I enjoy Type-0's gameplay a lot, it's basically "hack and slash". The customization is very limited for my taste, you can only have two magics or two skills at the same time and that sucks. Same for the equipment, only two sets for equipment. You can use up to 15 characters with 3 of them being your main(s) in missions, if a character dies in the middle of the mission you can bring one from the reserves.

Story-wise it's pretty catching, at least to me. Others find it way too dull or lacking.

It's a nice game once you understand how it works, you might drop it after an hour or two otherwise.

I've been playing a lot of Xcom 2 recently (VIGILO CONFIDO) but the new operation for CS:GO with the remake of De_Nuke has had me hooked too.

I had been dabbling with Crusader Kings 2 again to see if I can get into it… but I might just leave it and get back into EU4….

Also have had a few Civ 5 games played but not finished recently, and me and a friend were planning to play some multiplayer on it.

I gave the demo of Stella Glow a shot and somewhat enjoyed it but it didn't give me enough of a feel for whether the gameplay becomes more varied later on.

Does anyone know roughly how many more characters join you and so forth?

Recent games, Jet Set Radio HD on Steam and a playthough of Presona 4 in the running.
Now if I haven't ran into that difficulty spike in Earthbound though.

I've been playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director's Cut. It's one of my all-time favourite games, and I've played the not Director's Cut version at least 4 times. I'm also gonna be wrapping up my playthrough of Golden Sun: The Lost Age, as I'm very close to finishing it, and I want to get onto GS: Dark Dawn asap.

Just finished Bravely Second, it was awesome. Story does take a bit of a nose-dive right at the end though. New jobs were great to experiment with & there are some cool combinations to pull off with the characters.

Yeah, there's another post-credits scene, and Bravely Third is probably happening!

Digimon Cyber Sleuth gets a free update this week which adds 7 mons to the game. For free. Free! Keep this up Bandai.

Well I WAS playing Twilight Princess HD, but I got Stardew Valley on a whim after hearing good things about it and whoo boy. I'm trying to multitask both games but SV currently owns my life

Mainly Fire Emblem Fates. I finished Conquest on Sunday, and I'm working through Birthright. Still early in Birthright (chapter 11). I'm still playing Xenoblade Chronicles X. The focus I've had there has been getting all the materials needed to make the Ares 90, and the materials needed to create the augments I'm going to need.

Far Cry 4

A big world like that and tons of things to do, I'm gonna be in that ride for a while. Just yesterday, I went through a mission where you have to choose between working for either Amita or Sabal (my allies in this case). Now I have that feeling that I screwed up because Sabal is pissed at me. But I defended a temple in the end, so, I guess I did the right thing? We'll see.

Currently playing Vanquish (Xbox 360), Fire Emblem Awakening and at the same time Fire Emblem Fates Conquest (both for 3DS), AdVenture Capitalist (Steam/PC) and hopefully I might resume playing some Hotline Miami when I have the time. (also Steam/PC)

Still no stable Internet and 4GB+ graphics card. I'm stuck with any single-player game made before 2012 with low spec requirements.
Or Counter-strike 1.6, Delta Force (1998) and any indie games I could get. Gonna finish Undertale someday.

And I started playing Deer Hunter 2016 and Knights and Squires, the very types of games I'd crucify for being cheap cash grabs. The thirst is real, boys and girls.

1 liek = 2 kyll miself
