With the FFXIV Announcement Showcase 2021 and BlizzConline 2021 out of the way, the official date for the Digital FFXIV Fan Festival 2021 event will be on May 14th through May 15th, streaming live from the Tokyo Garden Theaters. It's free to watch, but if you decide to purchase to commemorate the online event, you'll get in-game items from Final Fantasy IV like the Rosa, Rydia, and Edge minions, and the Lunar Whale mount (first ever 8-player mount).
I can't wait to hear the rest of the full details on the newest expansion Endwalker. Naoki Yoshida always wear a shirt to tease us with hints, like the last event he wore Bugs Bunny shirts to hint us that the Viera race from Final Fantasy XII will be a playable race. This event, Yoshi-P is wearing grim reaper related shirts, hinting the next job is a DPS with a scythe. It's highly hinted to be Necromancer from Final Fantasy V, some say it's Beastmaster, some say it's Templar, and some say it's Shaman (from 4 Heroes of Light). Who knows? Guess I'll have to find out!
