Elden Ring OOOOOHH Elden Ring will you keep tormenting us for another eternity or will you finally answer us?

Confirmed for January 21, 2022 so at least we know we only have to wait half a year longer. Also it's cross-gen which is actually good for me as I doubt I'll have a PS5 or Xbox Series X by the time it comes out.

If PS5, good luck finding one. They're still out of stock.

Not that I'm complaining, but I expected something a little more different. Bloodbourne and Sekiro are considerably more visually distinct, the latter especially. Elden Ring looks like it might as well be DS4. I'm still super excited nonetheless, I can't get enough of these Souls like games,

Just looking at the trailer, I can just tell that the cavalry combat is going to be complete and utter jank.

Let's just hope it's the endearing "Fat Rolling" sort of jank and not the awful "Infinite Backstabs" sort of jank.
