it's pretty much tradition at this point for Nintendo to do one of these indie showcases a month or so before they do a Direct for the summertime. Place yer bets, Silksong stuff announced here, or will Nintendo save it for a summer Direct?

Like usual, nice Indies got announced. Gunbrella looks nice, Devolver always has a nose for interesting Indie titles. Elechead also looks fun.
Totally Accurate Battle Simulator is getting ported, which is pretty cool. I got the game for free on the EGS and i gotta tell it is a really fun game.
Sad that there is still no Silksong announced. Maybe for the Summer direct…?
Edit: Also, people are losing their shit over a crab soulslike.
Copy paste from my comment on the front page article:
Gunbrella, TABS, and Another Crab's Treasure were highlights for sure (and that game that looks like a mix of Limbo and Abzu looks neat too). I feel like Silksong at this point is going to be a thing for a regular Direct, it's gotten too hyped up for something that focuses on smaller titles.
Indie World showcases feel like they're always at a disadvantage from the get-go though because the fact they focus on smaller, lower budget games means of course you're NOT going to see something on the level of BOTW2, but this also means that having so many niche titles shown off at once means that every single announcement gets an equal mix of "oh that's neat" and "whatever, looks boring."
Only one that seemed to get near universal negative attention though is that adventure game focusing on some indie band, which I guess is supposed to be a "real" virtual band too? (think something like Gorillaz when I say "virtual band") Kinda reminds me of that one Strong Bad video where he talks about the difference between "indie" and "independent" films, as this game looks more like it fits into the label "it's called indie but looks like it has a large budget behind it."
