This is definitely a much more appealing 2.5D look than what Sonic 4 used a decade ago. I wonder if this is being made by Sonic Team or an outside studio like Headcannon (the studio Christian Whitehead works with most often). Either way it certainly looks good so far, hope it manages to stick the landing!
