Quite a pleasant surprise if I do say so myself, as I was hoping this would happen if the deal went through (which is did last week as of posting this thread). Yeah no doubt he's leaving with a massive golden parachute, but I'm just glad he won't be the one running that side of the business under Microsoft.

I didn't put it in the title but weirdly another big name attached to a company Microsoft owns is also leaving his company, namely Bethesda's head of publishing Pete Hines, probably the most visible face related to Bethesda after Todd Howard, is also retiring. Source

Hopefully Bobby's shit practices get shafted too with the new management. But Microsoft is also notorious for bad decisions so only time will tell.
